Hello there, you appear to have stumbled onto a page where I am supposed to be telling you a little about myself! To be perfectly honest with with you, I’ve been writing these things for years and I’m convinced I’ve only become worse as time has gone by! Regardless of this, I feel it is necessary I try and convey something to you all (other than the fact that I’m an avid rambler!) so here goes:

My name is Millicent and I hail from Melbourne, Australia. As a child I would hate it when people would give me nicknames. When I hit my late teens it bothered me that no one could ever pronounce my name properly. I got sick of getting called “Melissa” because my name was too tricky (personally, I don’t get it) and I was also discovering it to be a pain signing off with Millicent on the internet – so I began to adopt the name Millie. These days I’m content to reply to either, if you’re someone who can pronounce Millicent though, chances are I will love you forever.

I was born in March of ’87, and although I personally don’t believe in these things, other people may be interested to know that I’m an Aries which apparently means I’m fiery tempered and stubborn – I always just put those down to being family traits though. I’m an ENFP and I love to draw, paint, read, write, as well as listen to and play music.

My goal in having this site is that it provides me with a virtual home, and gives me the opportunity to reach out and help others. Being able to contribute to society makes you feel good about yourself and I highly recommend you all try it!
