About Reality Escapes Her

The first spark for Reality Escapes Her happened when I was listening to Shimmer by Fuel. I fell so in love with that line of the song because those three words are quite possibly the most accurate way of summing me up. When I used it as my sign in name on MSN a friend agreed and suggested I should use it on my LiveJournal. I did in fact use it for a while, until I purchased the domain name and moved myself onto the self-hosted WordPress platform. It was big and scary at first, but as I floundered, I came to love the big bad world of blogging (although I should note: I hate the word blog. It just sounds so ugly!).

I began to find myself dreading coming on to update though as I felt I kept cornering myself, over and over again. The site fast became a ghost town and my confidence withered up. After a while though, the ideas began flowing back to me, before I tore the site down (and told twitter that I had murdered it) on the 21st of December, 2011. I needed to wipe it clean and start all over again, but this time I had a mission. I wasn’t just going to flounder uselessly – I was going to share what I knew, and I was going to convince people to join me on a wild mission to change the world!

Together we can all make a positive difference, be it large or tiny. So this is my call to arms for you – will you join me, and fight the oppressive negative thoughts and energies of other people? Can you change your own thinking first.
